The Counter: WTF Burger

Special burger to celebrate Oktoberfest. The WTF burger came with white cheddar, salt and vinegar potato chips, applewood smoked bacon, pickle chips, and stone ground mustard… all between a Hawaiian bun.

It was ok.

MOCA: Destroy the Picture: Painting the Void, 1949-1962

There was so much to take in. I spent a good 3 hours just admiring not just the art, but the cohesiveness of the show. My favorite pieces on display were created by Lee Bontecou.

This will go down as one of MOCA’s better shows.

Brats Brothers – The Sampler

Solid place in Studio City for sausages and beer. I usually get the Sampler, which comes with four mini sausages (German, Black Forest, Hungarian, and my favorite, Swiss!), a fresh chewy pretzel, and some of “Grandma’s  sauerkraut.” Yum.
