I will probably end up getting most of these items within the next couple of months…
During one of my bi-weekly stops to Costco to pick up groceries, I came upon this Maisto scale model of Audi’s concept car, the Rosemeyer. It was first unveiled in 2000 as a concept. For whatever reason, it never made it into production. Looking at it though, it does a bare a striking resemblance to the Bugatti Veyron; it’s even powered by a similar W-16 engine.
One look, and I immediately had to throw it in the shopping cart.
Spotted this white specimen in the parking lot of my gym.
The local dealership, quoted me $570 to replace the front brake pads. Knowing that parts only cost about $200 retail, I quickly said “Eff that,” to the stealership and decided to give it a go on my own. Admittedly, I’m not a grease monkey, but I do have a father who is pretty good around cars. So, in the spirit of Father-Son bonding, I took this opportunity to spend an hour with the old guy to learn this pretty basic car skill…
…on Rodeo Drive..
Pagani recently unveiled the Huayra, the successor to the Zonda – still one of my favorite cars.
It comes with an AMG-built 700 hp 6-L twin-turbocharged V12…FTW! I also really like the side mirrors.
Picked up a 1:18 scale model of the new SLS from Costco for under $12!
If only my evening commute was like this….
