In my opinion, this is the best song off of Hôtel Costes 15. It’s in German. Pretty good lounge music.
I first came across Intergalactic Lovers while listening to the latest Hôtel Costes album (#15). On that compilation, Stéphane Pompougnac features the song Fade Away. Liking it quite a bit and piquing my interest, I got a hold of Intergalactic Lovers’ debut album, Greetings & Salutations, gave it a whirl, and found more gems like Queen of the Signs, Look at those Boys, and Delay.

Saori Yuki lent the voice and updated by Pink Martini, this is a great rendition of Ayumi Ishida’s Blue Light Yokohama.

Hilary Hahn and Valentina Lisitsa put on a fun performance. The main draw was Hilary’s playing of Bach, Brahms, and Beethoven. Nevertheless, I enjoyed listening to a selection from Hilary’s Encores project, my favorite of which was Christos Hatzis’ Coming To.
Finally got to see Gustavo Dudamel conduct the LA Philharmonic, and what a show! Dudamel was so full of expression; it was great. In fact, I caught myself smiling a few times.

What made this concert extra special though, was that we were also graced with the presence of Gil Shaham, who performed one of my favorite Mozart songs, the Violin Concerto No. 5.
