Checked out Top Chef winner, Michael Voltaggio’s restaurant, Ink.

This place has been hyped up quite a bit, and you know what, it lived up to it. The food was unique and pretty damn tasty. I’ll be back…

Here’s what we ate…

in the foreground, we started with the brussels sprouts, pig ears, house-cured lardo, apple

 charred avocado, hen of the woods, whipped fish sauce, mushroom chicharrón

 sea bass, cream of dehydrated potato, black olive oil, lemon, caper

 spaghetti, giant squid, squash, hazelnut-ink pesto, piment d’espelette

 butternut squash risotto, chicken wings, egg yolk, toasted wild rice, aromatic broth

 berkshire pork, charcoal crust, macaroni and cheese, leeks

 veal cheek, red curry, nante carrots baked in salt, fried and sticky rice

 quail, beet juice, quince, hazelnuts, banyuls vinegar

 apple, crème caramel, burnt wood sabayon, walnut

 chocolate, coffee, spice
