Son of a Gun – Seafood version of Animal

April 26, 2011 Dinner, Living No Comments

celebrated madame’s birthday…

… ate good food… seriously… a new favorite place.

started the night by forgetting how crappy pictures come out with no flash…. a bloody mary…

… slurped an oyster.

smoked mahi fish dip with crackers……… yum.

…. madame’s default order at every restaurant……salad…. it was pretty good… i suppose what little alcohol was in that bloody mary kicked in and knocked some sense into me… turned on the flash…

my favorite, and i think everyone else’s favorite, as well… the lobster roll…

second favorite… shrimp toast.

…trout.. was decent.

linguine and clams… this was tasty, but the least memorable…. won’t order this again.

the fried chicken sandwich… this sucker was huge… and on the heavy side…. it was good, but a bit too oily for my taste… and for whatever reason, took forever to come out the kitchen…

to satisfy the sweet tooth… flourless chocolate cake…. with coconut ice cream… goooooood..

blueberry buttermilk sorbet… it was…okay… oh well

overall, the food was damn good. the service was lacking, but not so much that i wouldn’t come back again. that lobster roll… yum!

c’est tout.

Tip: they have valet, but there’s street parking if you get lucky…
