My Grandpa’s watch.

February 21, 2011 Living, Style No Comments

My paps just gave me one of his paps’ watches. It’s a rectangular oval shaped Longines from I believe the 1950s or 1960s. Measuring at 32mm x 28mm it is really small by today’s standards. It’s a  manual and requires a clockwise-turn of the crown to function. It’s got a gold case and some tiny but blingtastic diamonds on half the markers. Seeing how my grandpa was a military person, I really doubt that he wore this everyday.

Still, it’s a handsome watch and one that I will cherish for a long time. Pretty cool.
