Shibuya – Sushi Spot in Calabasas

April 30, 2010 Gourmet, Japan No Comments

At the sushi bar, I asked the chef, “what’s good?” He recommended the sake-steamed clams, so that’s what I started with.

(were live) sweet shrimps

shrimp heads with some pozu… mMMm

Namesake, Shibuya House Roll. Americanized, tempura filled fatness. Guilty pleasure.

Salmon Skin Hand Roll. I really liked that they baked the salmon skin. Other lesser places would’ve fried it.

Other than the chefs, my friend and I were the only Asian people. Ha!
