To Do: Holi – Festival of Colors

February 28, 2010 Events, India, Living, World No Comments

To rejoice the coming of Spring, this year’s Holi (Festival of Colors) takes place on March 1st. It is celebrated on the day of the full moon in the Hindu month of Phalguna. Ah, I wish I was in India right now!

Besides the vibrant colors, which has roots in Hindu legend, this celebration brings together people of all castes, sexes, status and age…. my kind of party.

Bura na mano, Holi hai. Cheers!
