Old Country Cafe – Pork Chop Rice + Stinky Tofu

January 18, 2010 Gourmet, Living 1 Comment

After a day trip to LACMA, took JL to an old college kick it spot…The place is still charming and the food is still amazing!

This is what they’re known for – the pork chop rice.

The Stinky Tofu, or Special Fried Bean Curd, is decent.

This little Taiwanese cafe is also known for their Boba drinks. So, so good. Back in the day, they provided unlimited refills (not sure if they still offer that). In any case, they make their balls fresh – tender and sweet!

JL said this is the best place I’ve taken her so far. I guess we’ll be back. Cheers!
