Garments transformed by hand: The belts of vintage leather trench coats are assembled to create a jacket and trousers. these belts in various types of leather and different colours are assembled directly on the mannequin and sewn together to create a fitted jacket and straight leg trousers lined in cotton. All original details of the belts are kept, including some original buckles used as the actual belts of the new creations. The fit of the jacket and trousers can vary thanks to the presence of the belts which give a snug fit.
