I-naba: Special Cold Soba
if you haven’t guessed yet, i like cold soba and enjoy the ambience of I-naba. i like how i can’t understand what anyone else in the joint is saying.
the other night, rather than having the usual dinner, i upped the ante, if only a bit, and ordered the “Special” Cold Soba, and this is what arrived.

the fresh, handmade soba submerged in a cool broth, and topped with a lot of color.

..it was accompanied by a variety of veggies and a couple of prawns fresh from the tempura bar; i actually watched them make it… this place is world famous for their tempura. crispy and clean. perfectly prepared.

now, a couple of staples to my i-naba diet…
cold tofu.

Gindara Saikyo Yaki. Told you I’d get this again, and again, and again. so freaking amazing between sips of beer.

Cheeers!
