Dinner at The Bazaar by Jose Andres.

Started with a drink. Their “Ultimate Gin and Tonic.” It came with an edible flower. JL and SH ate it.

And then the food started to come…

Colorful cone with fish eggs and cream cheese.

Baby beets salad with citrus, pistachio, sherry dresing

Green asparagus tempura served with a romesco sauce

Endives, goat cheese, oranges, almonds.

Croquettas de pollo, basically a stuffed fritter – chicken in a béchamel sauce.

Canned mussels with olive oil, vinegar, and pimenton.

the Cotton Candy Foie Gras was pretty good. I really liked the texture. Soft foie gras enveloped in a crunchy sweetness.

forgot what this is called, but it is basically a cylinder of spinach topped with an assortment of nuts and raisins. pretty good.

The Philly Cheese Steak. Air Bread, Cheddar Cheese, and Wagyu Beef.

Air bed in action, oozing melted cheese. So good. Next time, I will just order 10 of these for myself.

Wild mushroom rice topped with Idiazabal cheese

Butifarra Senator Moynihan… Catalan pork sausage, white beans, and mushrooms….i really liked the beans.

After we finished, moved over to the Patisserie and sat in the dark.

Munched on Spanish Flan, Greek Yogurt Panna Cotta w/ apricots and muscat gelatin, a lava cake, and a bowl of chocolatey goodness.

I’ll be back to try out other things on the menu. Cheers!
