Sanuki no Sato: Best Nabeyaki Udon

March 29, 2009 Gourmet No Comments

According to my friends, Sanuki no Sato makes the best udon. And after last night’s dinner, I agree!

One can do a quick google search and see numerous positive reviews on the place pop up, praising it for its hand-made udon and Japanese authenticity.

Anyways, check out the the things I ate…. mMMmmmm…

Hiyayakko. Chilled tofu topped with green onion and ginger. This was so refreshing and a great way to start the meal!

Kurobuta sausage. Boiled berkshire pork sausage. They were mMmMm.

Agedashi Tofu. Deep fried tofu in tempura broth. We love tofu =)

Nabeyaki Udon. Topped with shrimp tempura, half-boiled egg, chicken, shitake mushroom, seaweed, and sansai vegetables served in a hot iron pot. mMMMmmmm

So, so good. I’m getting hungry just looking at these pictures again. My mouth is salivating. =P
